Dr. Elaine Williams-Morgan is a Media and Management Consultant, Business Educator, and Author. She is the founder and director of Carican Media & Consulting which provides Media and Management Consulting, Digital Marketing, and Training Services to corporate entities and SMEs. Her passion lies in helping businesses clarify their value proposition and reposition for growth in the digital economy. She is the author of - “Avalanche of Leads - Why You Should Use Social Media to Build Your Brand” - which explores social media adoption and impact.
Elaine is a former Programme Manager and Consultant with the RJR/Gleaner Communications Group, Television Jamaica and digital platform, 1Spotmedia. She also worked as Programme Manager and Consultant at CVM Television and as Programming Consultant with the Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC), Barbados, in the development of Caribbean channel, CaribVision.
Elaine's wealth of experience in the broadcast media, extends to the development of television and radio channels, the development of media content, and the training of media specialists. Additionally, she served as a representative at various international television screenings, acquired content, and undertook negotiations for major media events. Elaine's media engagements also include cohosting “The Breakfast Club” which featured policymakers and thought leaders, "The Inner Circle,” focused on health and wellness, and “YourBusiness,” featuring business owners and entrepreneurs. Elaine is also a skilled Business Educator and Corporate Trainer who develops and deliver business and media courses.
Elaine is dedicated to making a positive impact and giving back to the next generation, and does so through “ Elevate Mentorship” - A youth mentorship program, she co-founded to equip young men and women to make better career and life choices.
